Heidi Grace Back Pack

I’ve seen several of these cute little backpacks on blogs and in galleries. I have no idea who the original designer is but I have to admit that I thought they were so cute. So cute in fact that I decided to create one for myself.

I used scraps from the Heidi Grace Cherrywood Lane paper as well as Stampin Up Chocolate Chip cardstock to create mine. I also used the Basic Grey Magnetic Snaps to keep the top part closed.

Here's a side view of the backpack.

I plan on making another backpack in more masculine colors for my son who is starting back at college in January. He is an Apprentice Mechanic and works most of the year. As part of his apprenticeship he has to attend college for two months of the year. This will be his second year in college and he'll have one more college semester to go after this one before he can be a licensed Mechanic.

His backpack will be a “Student Survival Kit” to help him get through those rough spots. lol
